We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ENGLISH SPEAKING member to join our team in Istanbul to be part of the finance & accountant department. FULL OR PART TIME!

-Guiding, supporting, and following up the internal employees during the execution of their assignment, as well as actively participating yourself if necessary, in order to guarantee the progress of accounting payment processes.

-Collect and register accounts payable invoices and perform reconciliations,
-Organise and assist with preparation of excel files for reviewing of expenses, payroll records, invoices, proformas etc. as assigned

-Being the first point of contact for all local financial matters, also those more broadly related to finance such as insurance, compliance, reporting & controlling

-Gathering, processing and interpreting relevant details that are related to the activities of the team and reporting about this information to the Director

-Continuous personal development, both in terms of knowledge of the own field and in terms of managerial skills, in order to strengthen his/her credibility as Finance Manager

-Coordinating the day-to-day contact as well as managing the long-term relationship with external supplier such as the auditor, banks, customers and tax consultants in order to make sure that the company complies with the rules and regulations and that the external party can deliver the requested reports / outputs

-Ensure business transactions are reported

-Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close,
-Work with external departments, vendors, and foreign partners to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of payments,

-Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes,

-Research and analyze expense variances for company management,
-Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records to ensure all business transactions are recorded,

-Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed,

-Our team is small & very friendly.
- Salary (above minimum wage)
-We have a metro stop in front of our building, therefore access to the office is very easy.
- please do not apply if you aren't able to communicate FLUENTLY in ENGLISH.
-Minimum 4 years of accounting experience is required
-Turkish Speaking isn't a must but is definitely much easier if Turkish is understood.
-English is the common language used in the company, therefore is required.
